HELP & QUESTIONS
Clear answers before you make a professional commitment.
Learn what the framework means, how the private database works, what the application evaluates, how classifications differ, and what approval does—and does not—promise.
Begin an applicationThe methodology
Is The Optimize Method just an acronym?
No. The letters create a repeatable sequence: Observe, Profile, Test, Investigate, Measure, Improve, Zero In, and Evaluate. Each stage has its own question, reasoning, evidence, and expected output. The acronym makes the sequence memorable; the operating discipline gives it value.
Does the method assume every business has a problem?
No. A credible conclusion may be that a process is working well and should be protected. The method does not manufacture findings, require change for the sake of change, or treat a newer tool as automatically better.
Can the stages overlap?
Yes. Real operations are not perfectly linear. New evidence may send the assessment back to testing or investigation. The sequence is a control system for reasoning, not permission to ignore what the evidence reveals.
Who applies the method?
Optimize Enterprise applies it through business optimization work. Qualified approved assessors may contribute field evidence within an authorized assignment, while scope, reporting, confidentiality, safety, and decision rights remain defined.
Applying to the database
Does submitting the form put me in the database?
No. The submission enters a pending review queue. Optimize Enterprise may approve it, decline it, request more information, or keep it under review. Approved membership and a member classification are separate owner decisions.
Why do you ask for more than a resume?
A resume rarely explains availability, travel, conflicts, notice needs, current credentials, evidence quality, or how a person handles an ambiguous operational situation. Those details matter to a responsible match.
Why is email required and phone optional?
Email is the current channel for application receipts, decisions, status updates, and possible assignment inquiries. Phone is optional private data that can support duplicate control or later assignment administration; providing it does not authorize sales calls, cold calls, or text messages.
Can I submit more than once?
Do not create repeat applications to update the same profile. The system checks normalized email and phone information and may block a duplicate. If your information changes, use the original contact channel so the existing record can be updated.
Do I have to upload a resume or complete every field?
No. A resume and detailed work-history responses are useful but optional. Only the core identity, email, classification preference, consolidated acknowledgement, and typed signature fields are required. A blank or nonapplicable optional section does not prevent submission; Optimize Enterprise may request clarification later.
Why is date of birth required?
Date of birth supports identity matching and preparation for a possible lawful background-screening process. It stays in the restricted owner record and is excluded from the submission-notification email. It is not used for advertising or public display.
What should I never upload or provide by phone?
Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank or card information, passwords, medical records, drug-test results, full consumer reports, government identity documents, or unrelated highly sensitive information. Optimize Enterprise will never call, text, or email asking you to send them. Treat such a request as a scam. If lawful screening later requires identity data, provide it only to the authorized provider through its secure portal after disclosure and written authorization.
Where does my submission go?
The complete assessor application, signature, and uploads enter a restricted review workflow. You receive an application receipt by email. Sensitive identity, signature, screening, and document information is not included in ordinary applicant email.
Should I upload or buy my own background report?
No. Do not upload or email a full consumer report, Social Security number, or identity document. The application records only whether you are ready to complete a separate screening, whether you have a recent report you could discuss, or whether you have questions. If screening becomes relevant, Optimize Enterprise provides a separate disclosure and authorization through its approved process.
Professional fit questions
Is there an IQ test?
No. The public application uses short, transparent questions about work the applicant knows, a process they perform well, unclear instructions, confidentiality, and willingness to train. More detailed role-specific evaluation happens later only when a real assignment may fit.
Are the questions pass or fail?
No single response automatically approves or rejects a profile. Experience, credentials, availability, conflicts, communication, accuracy, training readiness, and the needs of a real assignment are reviewed together.
Can I keep answers short or leave an optional answer blank?
Yes. Clear, honest answers are more useful than long or overly polished answers. The professional-context questions are optional; blank or nonapplicable answers do not block submission.
Will there be training?
Yes. A selected assessor must be open to mandatory general and assignment-specific training before work begins. Training may cover The Optimize Method, role boundaries, confidentiality, documentation, communication, safety, worksite hazards, and escalation requirements. Any compensable training connected with an assignment must be handled as required by law and the written assignment terms.
Status and compensation
Is Active status paid?
No. Active database membership is unpaid. It means an approved person is currently available for routine matching and first consideration when qualifications and client fit align. Assignment compensation is addressed separately if an opportunity is accepted.
Can someone with a full-time job be Active?
Possibly. Outside employment does not automatically require Inactive status. What matters is whether the person can keep an accurate availability profile, respond reliably, meet notice expectations, and honor accepted commitments.
What is Inactive status?
Inactive means approved but not routinely available. It can fit a full-time schedule, leave, temporary conflict, credential renewal, or personal request. A specialist may still be contacted when rare expertise makes the person especially relevant.
What is Paid Priority Reserve?
It is a selectively offered paid readiness classification for scarce or strategically important expertise. A separate written agreement defines the amount, frequency, term, availability commitment, response time, notice, administration, and termination rules.
How much does Paid Priority Reserve pay?
There is no universal rate. Profession, credentials, scarcity, experience, geography, schedule, minimum availability, response expectations, legal classification, payroll, tax, insurance, and the agreement term can all affect the amount.
Can I choose Paid Priority Reserve on the application?
You can state interest and explain what may make your expertise difficult to replace. Optimize Enterprise alone decides whether to offer the classification, and no reserve relationship exists until a separate written agreement is signed.
Is anyone paid simply for ordinary database membership?
No. Active and Inactive membership are unpaid. Only a professional separately selected, offered, and signed into Paid Priority Reserve may receive a defined monthly readiness payment merely for maintaining the agreed reserve commitment.
Do you ask for my current salary?
No. The application asks only for future assignment compensation expectations and, for Paid Priority Reserve interest, a future monthly readiness expectation. Do not provide current or past salary history.
How does the 10% assessment commission work?
A professional expressly designated in writing as a Full Embedded Operations Assessment Assessor may earn 10% of the Commissionable EOA Assessment Fee allocated to that assessor and actually received and retained by Optimize Enterprise. It is not 10% of client payroll, implementation services, travel, equipment, taxes, pass-through costs, or the entire client contract. Multiple-assessor allocations and all earning conditions are defined in the separate assignment agreement.
Can compensation be withheld for breaking confidentiality?
Earned client wages are not a penalty and remain payable. A substantiated material breach before a separate 10% performance commission is earned may affect only the unearned commission after documented review, notice, and an opportunity to respond. Protected safety, legal, wage, and government reports are never prohibited or penalized.
Assignments, communication, and privacy
Does approval guarantee an assignment?
No. Database membership does not guarantee work, hours, compensation, exclusivity, an interview, an assignment inquiry, or an offer.
How much notice will I receive?
Optimize Enterprise ordinarily plans for at least five business days between a written assignment offer and a proposed start. The actual notice, response deadline, and earliest start may vary by opportunity and any reserve agreement.
Can I decline an assignment?
Yes. An Active member may accept or decline. Three declined genuinely matching offers within a rolling 90-day period may lead to Inactive status after review. Inactive specialty inquiries do not use that rule, and declining an extension is not treated as declining a new assignment.
How will I learn about an application or status change?
Optimize Enterprise currently uses the email you provide. A successful submission receives a private reference number. Material review requests, decisions, and status changes are communicated by email; silence for a particular period does not itself mean approval or denial.
Does applying subscribe me to marketing?
No. Operational application email is part of the required consolidated agreement. Marketing email is a separate optional checkbox. A second optional future-outreach checkbox records interest in a later invitation if compliant SMS or postal programs launch; it does not authorize automated texts, sales calls, or postal marketing now. Email is the primary documented channel; the published business support number is (518) 708-7675.
Will I have a background check?
You may be asked to complete a lawful, assignment-relevant screening after individual review. The application acknowledgement is not the authorization to order a third-party report. If screening is requested, you receive a separate disclosure and authorization process and any notices and dispute rights required by applicable law.
Who pays and insures an assessor during an EOA?
The client is intended to place an accepted assessor on its payroll for the legitimate host role and compensable hours, with assignment documents addressing wages, timekeeping, safety, workplace training, workers’ compensation, disability and leave coverage, and other applicable responsibilities. Actual legal status depends on the facts and law, so the structure and coverage must be verified before work begins.
Will ordinary employees know an Embedded Operations Assessment is occurring?
Not ordinarily, when the client has lawfully authorized normal-role observation and the assignment can be performed safely and ethically. The authorized owner and any people identified in the assignment controls know. This is process-focused consulting—not private investigation, surveillance, entrapment, or permission to record people unlawfully. Safety and legally protected reports remain allowed.
Who can see my application?
The application and supporting records are not a public directory. The owner-only dashboard is protected by sign-in and an explicit owner allowlist. Information may also be shared when reasonably necessary for verification, legal compliance, or a potential assignment, as described in the Privacy Notice.
Can my profile be suspended or removed?
Yes. Credential lapse, false information, material omission, repeated nonresponse, unsafe conduct, confidentiality breach, fraud, or inability to meet applicable requirements may result in an internal hold or removal after appropriate review.
