ASSESSOR RESOURCE CENTER

Practical guidance you can use before an application or assignment.

This is a maintained working library—not an empty blog. Start with the resource that answers the decision in front of you.

01

Application checklist

Prepare an honest professional history, current credentials, availability, and optional supporting documents without sending sensitive identity information.

  • Resume or professional summary
  • Industries, roles, tools, and equipment you know firsthand
  • Current licenses and certifications
  • Real availability and travel limits
  • Optional work samples that contain no client-confidential information
02

Evidence-note standard

Strong notes distinguish an observed fact, a statement made by someone else, an inference, and an unanswered question.

  • Record date, time, role, and operating context
  • Describe behavior or process without loaded labels
  • Separate direct observation from interpretation
  • Identify what still needs verification
  • Never record unlawfully or collect unrelated personal information
03

Confidentiality field guide

Assessment information stays within the authorized assignment channel and is never used for personal advantage, gossip, or public claims.

  • Use only approved devices and storage
  • Discuss work only with authorized contacts
  • Escalate safety and protected reports through lawful channels
  • Do not advertise an undisclosed assignment
  • Return or destroy information as the written terms require
04

Assignment-readiness checklist

No assignment begins until the role, pay, timekeeping, training, safety, travel, reporting, insurance responsibilities, and contacts are confirmed in writing.

  • Written role and observation scope
  • Client payroll and wage terms
  • Start, duration, schedule, and absence procedure
  • Safety orientation and assignment-specific training
  • Travel authorization and expense process
05

Travel and expense boundaries

Travel is assignment-specific. Coverage is never assumed and unauthorized expenses are not promised reimbursement.

  • Approved route and dates
  • Transportation and lodging responsibility
  • Per-diem or receipt rules
  • Preapproval limits
  • Emergency and schedule-change contacts
06

Keeping a profile current

Accurate availability, credentials, conflicts, and contact details make matching safer and reduce unnecessary outreach.

  • Confirm Active availability at least every 90 days
  • Report credential or employment changes promptly
  • Use Inactive status when routine matching is unrealistic
  • Respond by the written deadline
  • Never create duplicate applications

KEEP GOING

Use the exact next step—not an unnecessary one.
